Good product for its price.
Pros:
1. Light weight
2. Good pictures
3. Built in software --useful when you connect directly to TV
4. HDTV output
5. Small foot print
Cons:
1. The picture capture button is akward. Next to zoom button. Keep on pressing the zoom button.
2. The tilt angle takes some getting used to.
3. Record button is in wrong place.. at the back. Which means you have to use your left hand (assuming you are holding the camera on your right hand) to start stop the video. The start stop button should be on the top.
Overall I like it and would recommend.

The sound could be better. If you are taking video while riding in a car, the built in mic is so sensitive that
the engine noise sounds as bad as a 30 MPH per hour gust of wind blowing directly at the camera. It drowns out all other sounds and
is extremely irritating to listen to after a while. Speaking of
real wind, the wind cut feature doesn't help at all. Even when noises such as wind, fans or engine rumbling are
absent, the sound on here occasionally clicks and pauses. The camera also makes a low whinning noise that is picked up in
recordings.
As far as ease of use and features go, this item gets high points. You can choose to film in widescreen or
full screen, 420p, 720p or 1080p and the night recording capabilities are better than that of my $230 Samsung Mini-DV camcorder
I bought four years ago. This camcorder also takes excellent still pictures.
If you are looking for a great HD photo camera or are going to be filming indoors, you'll love this
camcorder. But if you are picky about sound (like me) or plan to do a lot of outdoor filming, don't settle
for this one.

My husband and I have been looking for a new HD camcorder that used SD cards. We are replacing a JVC HD that stopped working. We looked high and low and settle on this Samsung T10 but bought from another place as we didn't see it on Amazon at the time.
Samsung is the #1 brand in electronics and this camcorder is no exception. I don't like products that are hard to use and believe this one is simple to use. The ergonomic design was also a big seller for us. We find there is no fatigue when shooting for long periods of time because of the natural angle your hand holds the camcorder.
The zoom is much smoother and longer distance than we had on the JVC so that is nice. The other reviewer says something about noise and my husband and I don't have that at all. Actually we were just saying how much better the video quality is than we had before so overall we are really enjoying this Samsung camcorder.
We almost bought the Red model but decided on the White instead. I like it a lot and can easily ready the functions on the white background. I plan on buying a Red one for our daughter for a graduation present. It comes with a 4GB SD card so you are ready to go as soon as you open the box.

Great Quality Camera with image stabilization Aug 29, 2011

I bought this to replace my 2 year old Sony Webbie HD camera. I was just tired of watching jumpy video no matter how careful i was to shoot it.
Compared to this camera the quality blows it aways. The image stabilization and 60 fps features makes it a great prosumer level camera (in my opinion). It also has a powerful optical zoom.
On the PC side you get some integrated editing software when you mount the camera on your computer. Since I'm a Mac user I don't get to use this but I'm happy to quickly edit my videos in iMovie ( after they are converted by the software to a compatible format ) or now in Adobe Premiere to get more advanced features.
I'm really happy with my purchase.

Got this camcorder as a gift to replace my old tape style camcorder. I am liking the ease of use & the lightness of the product. as my last one was bulky. Came with a 4 GB sd card & bought 2- 16 GB cards to go with it. it's not high end filming here, but good for what i used it for. filming my daughter dancing & playing kick ball with her friends in the back yard.It was bought thru Amazon, so it was received fairly fast and in good packaging .
