Love this monitor, I would buy more if they still sold it. Apr 24, 2010

Love the real estate this monitor gives me. This is for work, but I would consider replacing my two 21" monitors with this one.
I have 1200 pixels high at home. And this one has it too. I am VERY disappointed that all the new monitors coming out are only 1080. I want those 120 pixels back.
This is a plea to all the MFGs out there, please start making the 1920 x1200 again.

Great monitor Jun 08, 2010

"Doh!"
Spent a bunch of time looking for a 24" monitor with 1900X1200 resolution to use with my home desktop system (16:10 rather than 16:9), and this one looked perfect from the specs. As I had hoped, this monitor has great color out of the box and the resolution, clarity, etc. is just excellent. Only had to turn the brightness and contrast down some for my particular ambient conditions. Don't understand the "doesn't adjust" comment, since mine has swivel and you can tilt the panel. The only thing that you can't do, and this is by no means usual for the monitors that I've owned, is adjust the height of the monitor panel. In my case, no height adjustment would be needed anyways. Streaming video on this monitor looks great, as well as being a great Windows 7 desktop monitor. I couldn't be happier with it. I have only one negative with it, which is that the adjustment buttons are not well labeled, but I've only had to use them once, so I can't really call that much of a negative.

1900x1200 is the way to go Aug 22, 2010
By ruminator Why has the wide screen type monitor become the industry standard? I understand that people might like to watch DVDs on the computer, but the shorter height of those monitors just seemed to be wasteful. I'm so glad that I found this monitor with the more conventional height to width ratio. It was surprised by how light weight it is. The display is very nice and the factory settings were just fine. If you are annoyed by all of the wide screen monitors on the market then this is a great alternative.

Great Monitor Jun 18, 2010
By James Luttenbacher Very well done monitor. the controls take a bit of getting used to. But the clarity is incredible. Good job Samsung. As for attracting dust. all computer products are "dust magnet" because of the static charge near them .Thats what dusters are for.

Horrendous Viewing Angle May 19, 2010
By K. Fraser - Viewing angle is so poor that spectrum shifts occur from one side of the screen to the other without even turning my head. This was the deal breaker for me.
- Not adjustable in any direction
- Significant backlight bleed around perimeter
- Glossy black plastic bezel and base seems to attract dust.
