5The first thing you need to understand is: THIS IS NOT AN IPAD!!!  Aug 17, 2011 By jdh4321
.... It's also NOT a Galaxy Tab or any of the numorous other high dollar high end tabs out there.

That being said, lets talk about what it is. A VERY inexpensive, very cool android table and book reader.

I have the white version, it came boxed nicely with everything I needed to get started. It doesnt have access to google's android market but it comes with a market if its own and I found there were PLENTY of places to get free apps all over the internet.

I found the screen to be fairly responsive, however not as fast as MY Ipad. Thats right folks I have an iPad. I wanted something i could throw in the car or read on the boat or drop accidently without worrying about losing it somehow some way. My ipad cost $700 bones new and I found I really didnt like to take it with me anywhere that it might get damaged.

This unit is not as fast as other extreamly more expensive units out in the world but it really, most definatley, does the job. Convert your vidoes to MP4 and watch movies or wait a bit, VLC is coming with an app that will let you play ANY movie file.

Music player is great, speakers are ok but headphones are better. You can reach out on your home network and access files with this unit (something you CANT do with a MAC) you can also expand its memory both internal and exlernal rather simply.

Screen is bright, controls are responsive and the Open Android software that came on it seems pretty stable.

THINK about what you want out of your tablet.

I wanted something a little more compact that I could just throw in the car with me and go. Inexpensive and usefull. This filled the bill and is a steal at this price.

I was surprised to find it on Amazon and certainly at such a reasonable price.

If you want superfast processing and the APP store (Both android or Apple) then your going to have to buy something more expensive.

I found this Tab reliable easy to use and still able to get every APP on it I wanted without having to ROOT it or Hack it.

It's a great first Tab or for the person who doesn't need all the bells and whisltes of an Ipad.

I hope this helps!!

5Great product  Jun 30, 2011 By Laurie
I bought this as a birthday present for my mom. She enjoys surfing the web right before bedtime and had been using her ipod touch, but the screen is soooo little it's hard for her to see anything. She is also disabled and there are days that she is in bed or on the couch all day unable to move. I wanted her to have something larger that was a multi-tasker that was easy to use. SHE LOVES THIS TABLET!! It has taken her a few days to get the hang of it, and she says she still hasn't discovered all of the bells and whistles, but it lets her surf the web without having to sit at a desk where the computer is. It's also an ereader and the built in Barnes and Noble app is awesome and very easy to use. It also comes with a couple of games (one of them is solitaire, she was thrilled :) )But she has already downloaded a few more from the app store. In my opinion, it is totally worth the cost and I am just thankful to see her so happy.

5Great Deal for Little Reader  Apr 14, 2011 By joy4
I'm a big fan of this product. I have yet to run out of battery life, even using the wifi to surf for a couple of hours. Yet, it is a bit heavy. But, it is a GREAT alternative to an iPad. The web surfing is perfectly fine if the wifi connection is a good one. The screen resolution and color is better than most tablets at this price and size, 800x600. As far as Refurbished product, item comes in a sealed retail box and all accessories are brand new, just like new product. I can not tell if it is refurbished.

4Great product but a few things you should know  Sep 15, 2011 By Thecoolguy
I was a bit skeptical at first when i saw this tablet because its so-called contender the E-pad seemed to do a better job considering the processor is faster, but i honestly don't regret getting this little powerhouse.

PROS: Internet is fairly fast as well as load up time.

Touch screen is responsive but people need to understand that you need to apply a little bit of pressure.

Build quality is decent and not cheap feeling. It also has a good amount of weight to it.

You can upgrade the SD card (which i highly recommend)

Wifi

Even though it says manufactured mine came in brand spankin new with no problems.

Android 2.0 Makes life enjoyable

CONS: Battery life is short (when running multiple tasks including wifi)

Wifi scanner sometimes doesn't work. To solve this problem just reset the system or turn it off.

Touch screen doesn't responde (this is rare but annoying when it happens)

OVERALL I give this product a 8/10 because considering how cheap i bought it for it runs smoothly. I haven't tried any other cheap tablets but please let me know if there is a cheaper tablet that you think is better and i will try to test it out and do a comparison.
THANKS FOR READING I HOPE THIS HELPED IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SYSTEM PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK.

2For a few $$$ more I am going to buy a Pandigital Nova.  Aug 20, 2011 By irisch "irisch"
After receiving this panDigital Tablet I used it for two days. Was not pleased with it because it was slow on my High Speed Internet. Not much memory, no flash (no video). I sent it back for a refund. I am going to pick up a PanDigital Nova tomorrow for my bday. (my wife is going to let me). If you don't mind spending about $80 more I would recommend getting a Nova. Some of the advantage's are: Netflix, Skype, YouTube, processors, memory, speed.
I also looked at the fly Touch 10", but there were a lot of bad reviews on it. The Nova also had some bad reviews that is why I am going to go to Best Buy and look at one first before I buy one.
I will say if you are just looking for a low cost eReader this one is OK. Better price then the Nook and Kindle with colour to boot.
I did call the tech support and the tech was very helpful, and after talking for awhile, He was the one who recommended the Nova, when I asked about video. (Flash support). Nova has it this one don't. Also the Nova has a faster processor and more memory. Well worth the extra $$$. Amazon also has the Nova listed, and will be ready for shipment Aug. 24th. The price was just a little higher then Best Buy, but I expect it to come down after it is out awhile. One last thing, This one had Android 2.0, the Nova is up to 2.3.
Hope this review helps you out.
