Good for old TV Nov 02, 2011
By Anna MacGregor Some of us still have old TVs that work fine, but sometimes the antenna in back got bumped or moved roughly and the short bottom stub of the antenna broke off. This replacement fits into the hole in the back of my old RCA and also a TV my neighbor has. It is the VHF and will work with a Digital Converter box. However, you might need an additional "Bowtie" or Circle UHF antenna which can be found cheaply on Amazon or EBay, or can be homemade with metal coat hangers or wires or aluminum foil. [Even an old aluminum piepan in the right place near the TV can work wonders.] Everybody's reception will be different so you will probably need to experiment. The Digital signals seem to be much more fussy than the old analog ones.
