Scammer seller; great product otherwise Jan 09, 2010
By Marie Schieren I have used this product several times. The ink is amazing. It prints tons of pages before it runs out. I figured I'd come on Amazon.com to see if I could buy a better deal. To my surprise, I thought I could! I purchase the item, knowing how great the item would be, only to have it come in a torn up plastic bag. The ink was refilled instead of new (not that that's a big issue; considering recylcing), but when you advertise new-you need to sell new. Secondly, the item description said, "XL". When I received the package, it was only the regular-WHICH I COULD HAVE BOUGHT ON AMAZONG FOR $11 AND LOCALLY FOR $18! INSTEAD I PAID $32. I emailed the seller to try and fix the problem (money back, secondary ink cartriage, something!) and didn't receive a response. I emailed again and I have yet to receive anything. Watch who you are buying from! After a few uses, the ink was smearing and all! I am extremely disappointed in this rip-off Canal Street ink cartriage. I would have been better off buying in person!
I got ripped off! Don't let it happen to you!

Good, but not what expected Jan 30, 2010

The product appears to be fine and works great, but you should note that it does NOT come in the actual cardboard box. I specifically ordered this product instead of a cheaper bag only packaging (HP 75XL Tri-color Inkjet Print Cartridge (CB338WN)) because I wanted the extra assurance of it being in a retail box.
However, when I get the package it appears to just be an OEM package. Save yourself $5, and order the OEM packaged one since that's what you're going to get anyway. I couldn't find anywhere where it listed that it didn't come in the box - until I went to leave a review where the seller comments list this. Why doesn't Amazon list this anywhere prior to placing the order?

GREAT product! May 31, 2008

I am so thrilled with these XL cartridges. I am an elementary teacher and private tutor, so I do a ton of printing. I had almost decided that I should just throw out the printer everytime I ran out of ink. I had even tried refilling the cartridges (extremely messy and inconsistent results) These cartridges are pricey, but they seem to last forever! I can print now without these little dollar signs spinning in my head! Happy, happy, joy, joy!

yes, very expensive ink Aug 09, 2008
By David W. Darby I recently bought a new HP printer that uses these #74 and 75 cartridges. My old 920c used #78 and 15. They were about 31 dollars each, but held 19ml. That's a 1.63 per ml. The 74/75s are 17 dollars and only hold 3.5ml, that's 4.86 per ml.
Even with the XL carts (12 ml) at the sale price, its 2.40 per ml. (Before S&H) I gave that new printer away.
My old one may be slower, but its loads cheaper. I also notice now that HP doesn't list the ink capacity on their cartridges anymore. Next printer I get, I'm switching.

hp original, apparently. Nov 18, 2008
By M. A. Carvalho didn't get the cardboard, but looks like original. Large version saves a few bucks compared to the tiny one.
