5Great little recorder/player!  Nov 21, 2007 By mamaj
This is a great little recorder for general purposes. Easy to understand text in playback and simple to use. For the money, you can't go wrong here. The fact it records on a full size tape is a plus for listening to cassettes in a car.

4Coby CX-R60 Voice Activated Cassette Recorder  May 17, 2010 By J. Burford "molly's mom"
As a musician, I was in great need of a cassette player. They are hard to find in stores these days, so I was pleased to find this one among a good selection on Amazon.com. It's small, compact, simple, easy to use, and fits my needs just fine. And the price for what I needed was unbeatable. Thank you!

1Lousy Product  May 25, 2011 By artsyjane
I bought this recorder for a friend serving a mission. He had it for only a month before the recorder stopped working. It refused to record or play the tapes he had. The sound quality on the only tape I received from him, was worbly and uneven. Most of the time, his voice sounded like a chipmunk. In a letter he explained that he would have to hit the tape recorder frequently to get it to run at a steady pace. I would recommend going with a Sony tape recorder instead of this one.

2not what i expected...  Jul 05, 2010 By melissa
I ordered this hoping it would work decently to record meetings with my boss cause of unresolved issues at my work place. It was bulky and only picked up sounds if you are talking directly into the Mic. I ended up using the voice recorder built into my phone which worked a million times better. I guess the saying, you get what you pay for is true. I would recommend this recorder if you have a kid that likes to record themself sing. or something but other then that, I couldn't think of anything I would need this old school recorder for.

1Not Good at All  Aug 16, 2011 By debauken
I expected the recorder to be simple with not a lot of quality - I mean the price is cheap. Well, it certainly was. Within 3 days it stopped working. The prior three days it worked for 5 minutes, stopped working for 2, shake it and back you go.

I would never buy this product again for any price.
